Janet Garufis is president and chief executive officer of Montecito Bank & Trust. She is active in philanthropic efforts throughout Santa Barbara and has two sons, Matthew and Adam. Janet is a volunteer chair of the Santa Barbara Children’s Library capital campaign committee. An avid reader herself, she brings her special emphasis to corporate giving donors.
Jim Jackson is the Chief Operating officer for the Alisal Guest Ranch in Solvang. Jim and his wife Chana live in Montecito and have two children, Nicholas and Ryan. Jim has fond memories of riding his bike to the Santa Barbara Central Library when he was a kid. As a volunteer campaign chair, he spearheads campaign strategy and collaboration with local foundations.
Elizabeth Slaught works in the fine arts industry exhibiting works locally, in the UK, and Spain. Elizabeth and her husband Kenny live in Montecito and together have raised five children. She is a volunteer co-chair of the Major Gifts Committee and has brought her skills as a visual artist to the planning process.
Christie Glanville owns and operates Montecito Tutoring and is a member of the Association of Educational Therapists, specializing in reading and literacy. Christie and her husband John have an eight year old son, James. As a longtime kindergarten teacher, Christie knows the value of storytelling and reading. She is a volunteer co-chair of the Major Gifts Committee.
Scott Brittingham is the founder of the Brittingham Family Foundation’s network of initiatives that support non-profits both in Santa Barbara County and across the country. Scott and his wife Ella have two children. He brings his expertise with successful local capital campaigns to his volunteer leadership role for the Campaign Committee.
