The Santa Barbara Public Library Foundation (SBPLF) has a practice of not selling, renting, trading, or otherwise disclosing donor information to any outside party. This is an official policy of the SBPLF.
All information is volunteered by SBPLF’s visitors by signing up to receive updates via electronic mail or making an online donation. The visitor may voluntarily submit his or her full name and email address to the SBPLF.
Visitors may receive the SBPLF’s regular communications as detailed on the online sign-up form. All credit card and personal profile information provided is transmitted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. SSL is a proven coding system that allows a browser to automatically encrypt, or scramble, data before it is sent.
